Leslie's journey as a casting professional started with a stroke of luck in 2006, when a friend asked for her assistance in casting extras for the feature film "Stomp The Yard," produced by FAMU graduates Will Packer and Rob Hardy. Leslie's successful recruitment of over 750 extras proved to be a pivotal moment, kickstarting her career in casting.
Based in Atlanta, GA, Leslie is well-prepared to work remotely or travel as required, having excelled in various roles as a Casting Director, Casting Associate, Casting Assistant, and Talent Booker. Her extensive expertise spans a diverse range of mediums, including Feature Films, Television Pilots, Commercials, and Documentaries, and she has worked on projects throughout regions spanning from the West Coast to the Southeast of California.
Over the years, Leslie has worked with major studios like Sony and has seen her projects appear on notable platforms such as Netflix, Lifetime, BET, Amazon Prime, and more. Her impressive portfolio also includes working with industry legends like Cree Summer and Norman Lear, further cementing her reputation as a highly respected casting professional.
Leslie's accomplishments reached a new high in 2023, with two of her film projects premiering at Sundance, a testament to her exceptional skills, hard work, and dedication to her craft.
